7) Shady hearts Nick

People get on LeSean McCoy for his outspoken nature, but here is a case of Shady using his mouth for good. The Eagles’ standout running back apparently likes Nick Foles at quarterback and he’s not the only one, with Zach Ertz also going on record in favor of Foles.

I agree with Shady and am glad he’s making his opinion known. It’s important to hear things like this because people have questioned whether Foles is a true leader. Obviously, he is.

8) Roseman gone?

Philly.com did its annual “stay or go” feature, a highly unscientific look at all things Eagles and where the people who took time to vote stand.

Apparently, 15 percent of “Eagles fans” want LeSean McCoy gone, because that makes a lot of sense to jettison one of the league’s best running backs. Pretty much everyone wants Riley Cooper gone, while folks are surprisingly down on Todd Herremans and Trent Cole. There are actually 14 percent of people who want Cary Williams back, a fact that just makes me sad.

Here’s a number that jumped out: 63 percent of voters want Howie Roseman gone. I suppose I kind of get it, because the Eagles didn’t make the playoffs, but what did Roseman do (or not do) that we really know about that’s driving this? Or is this just a sign of our devotion to Chip Kelly (who 94 percent of people want back)?
