5. Chase Daniel
The Eagles brought in quarterback Chase Daniel as an insurance policy in case Sam Bradford gets hurt or underperforms in 2016, but it’s very possible he could end up being the starter come Week 1.

Daniel has spent the last three years working closely with new Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson and knows his offense very well, which will give him a leg up in the Eagles’ quarterback competition this summer. Bradford, on the other hand, will be a learning a new offensive scheme for the second year in a row in an Eagles uniform.
Daniel is not a bad option for the Eagles by any means and could certainly end up playing a bigger role than his contract indicates. He has some hurdles to jump over before he can be considered a solid signing for the Eagles, but if things go his way this summer, we could know sooner rather than later just how significant his presence in Philadelphia really is.
