Zach Ertz

Zach Ertz is just 25 years old and he’s only getting better.

Since being drafted in the second round (35th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft, Ertz’s numbers have steadily improved every year and it does not look like that will change in Doug Pederson‘s tight end-friendly offense this season.

Last season, Ertz recorded career highs in receptions (75) and receiving yards (853). Oddly enough, Ertz’s touchdown totals have gone down in each of his three years in the NFL (he only had 2 touchdowns in 2015), but a lot of that has to do with luck.

Don’t expect Ertz to disappoint in 2016. He just got a nice contract extension from the Eagles and will likely be a big part of the team’s offense until at least 2021.
