5 Eagles that are key to a victory against the Falcons

Jay Ajayi is set to have his busiest working day as an Eagle on Saturday. Since his arrival in Philadelphia, Ajayi has not exceeded 15 carries in a single game. Things have been a lot different from his days on the Miami Dolphins. As a Dolphin, Ajayi was the focal point of the offense. Over the past season and a half, they utilized him as the workhorse back in their offense.

This week, the Eagles may be looking to do the same thing. It wouldn’t be such a bad idea considering Ajayi’s biggest rushing game this season came against the Falcons back when he was with the Dolphins. He posted up 130 yards off of 26 carries, helping Miami secure a comeback win back in October.

Just last season, the Eagles had one of their biggest rushing days against this same Falcons defense. Considering their backfield is a lot stronger this season, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them play smash mouth football with Ajayi. Also considering the weather conditions, both teams may be looking to keep the ball on the ground more often. If the game turns into a rushing battle, we really like the Eagles chances of coming out on top.
