Philadelphia Eagles: Top 5 Prospects at Linebacker
Rashaan Evans, Alabama
Rashaan Evans is coming out of college on his high horse as he is a national champion. But life goes on for the 6’3″ linebacker as he is primed to take on the next phase of his career. We all know that Alabama linebackers are quite popular in the early rounds of the draft. There are no exceptions for Evans as he is projected to be a first-round pick.
He might not have the most impressive stat sheet for a guy who spent all four seasons in the NCAA. But you can’t really blame him considering he waited behind former first-round pick Reuben Foster for the last couple of seasons. Evans finally got his shot to shine in the 2017 season. He totaled for 74 tackles, 35 of which were solo.

Evans fits right in with this class of hybrid linebackers who may seem undersized, but who are quick and athletic enough to get the job done well. Considering that Evans did well with remaining patient at Bama while he was sitting on limited snaps, the Eagles could really benefit from his patience and will to learn the game at the next level. The biggest question would be if teams will pass him up enough for him to reach pick number 32.
