Uchenna Nwosu, USC

Uchenna Nwosu hails from Southern California as a mid-round prospect. He stands at 6’3″ weighing a hefty 251 lbs. Although he comes from a big-named school, Nwosu doesn’t stand out much amongst his NFL peers, hence why he is more of a target for the middle rounds.

The Eagles have taken an interest in Nwosu, considering they will analyze linebacker’s that could be available in the fourth round. One of Nwosu’s most significant highlights from his college days, unfortunately, has nothing to do with his on-field play. Before USC’s bowl game back in his Freshman year, he was sent home for fighting with another teammate.

It also doesn’t help that Nwosu became so discouraged after that season, that he didn’t even have any intentions of playing football again after that season. Obviously, he changed his mind and finished out the rest of his NCAA career. The Eagles could be interested in the fact that he racked up 13 pass deflections and 9.5 sacks in his senior year. But will they shy away from Nwosu based on his past actions and losing motivation to play? We will find out during day three of the NFL Draft.
