The offensive line

This unit looks exactly like it did a year ago, except for the additions of Matt Pryor and the guy from Australia, rookie Jordan Mailata. The hope is Jason Peters stays healthy all season long. The expectation is a team who’s never seemed to be in love with Chance Warmack finds a way to trade him.

Grade: A+ (100%)

The tight ends

The surprise here is the fact that there are four of them and one of those four names belongs to Joshua Perkins. Perhaps Richard Rodgers‘ injury is more serious than we thought. Might Dallas Goedert explode in year one? If he does, he and Zach Ertz will provide a monstrous duo for quite some time.

Grade: A- (93 points out of 100)

The wide receivers

Alshon Jeffery is hurt, but he’s good at what he does. Mike Wallace appears to be an upgrade from Torrey Smith. Nelson Agholor stepped up a season ago and appears to be primed for another big year. Shelton Gibson‘s moved past the frustrations of a season ago. Mack Hollins comes in with high expectations, and DeAndre Carter has proven he belongs in the NFL.

This unit is young for the most part, and if the young guys equal the efforts (and hopefully the production) of their veteran counterparts, this could be very, very good unit.

Grade: B+ (92% with much room for improvement)
