The Colts may get rolled in this one.

The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off their first loss since January, thanks to a Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Injuries played a role in the loss, and so did the less-than-stellar performance of second-string quarterback Nick Foles.

For the last few weeks, Foles has looked lost at times but posted decent numbers, so why shouldn’t Eagles fans be excited about Wentz’ return?

This week is, arguably, the perfect game for Wentz to make his comeback. He isn’t going against a high-powered offense or an overly-stellar defense. It’s not like he is going against a team like the Bucs or Kansas City Chiefs, who both have some pretty red-hot signal callers leading their offenses.

Plus, the game’s at home, and that may lessen the pressure some.

Wentz is going against an average team in the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are 1-1 and may be a middle of the pack team.

Indianapolis quarterback, Andrew Luck doesn’t appear to be the guy he used to be. Injuries have plagued him during his career, and the amount of time he’s spent off of the field is, sometimes, showing that there’s some rust when you look at how he’s performing. Part of the reason Luck is struggling is because of the team he has around him.

Let’s be honest. The Colts don’t have a star-studded roster.

While the Colts are currently ranked 10th in defense, it is only Week 2, and Indianapolis has yet to face a high-powered, Carson Wentz-led offense, so as long Philly’s defense does its’ job, Wentz should be able to handle the rest.
