Nelson Agholor, WR

Be honest, did you think that Nelson Agholor would mirror his performance from last season? What’s the deal here? The guy can still catch, so that’s not the issue. Are the Eagles not using him correctly? Something is off with Agholor at this point in the season, but the Eagles need to figure it out as soon as possible.

This week, Alshon Jeffery will most likely be shadowed by Jaguars’ cornerback, Jalen Ramsey. There’s no guarantee that Jeffery has a big day going against an elite cornerback, so somebody else other than Zach Ertz, and Jeffery needs to step it up. Let’s hope that Agholor can be that guy once again this week.

Hopefully, the Eagles will realize that they need to go back to their original plans with Agholor, and keep him strictly in the slot. Last week, Agholor caught six of seven targets for only 20 yards. He was averaging 3.3 yards-per-catch. Clearly, the bubble screens aren’t working. It’s time to get Agholor back in the slot, and running routes across the middle. No excuses.
