Michael Bennett, DE

We can make the argument that Michael Bennett has been the Eagles best defensive player this season. At first, it was undeniably Fletcher Cox, but Bennett has officially surpassed him after his performance against the Cowboys last week. We knew Bennett was good when the Eagles traded for him, but he has made some of the biggest defensive plays this season on a weekly basis.

This week, we need Bennett to keep playing the way he has been playing. Getting to the quarterback, and maybe even forcing some turnovers. The pressure from the defensive line is what is going to make or break the Eagles defense this week.

The secondary is broke. There’s no other way to put it. If there isn’t even a tiny bit of pressure on the quarterback, then the Eagles could be doomed. Hopefully, that’s not the case, since Bennett has been a regular in the backfield. As he leads the Eagles in total sacks, we can count on him to be the guy to stand out on Sunday.
