Fletcher Cox, DT

Referring back to the first time these two teams met in 2018, Flecther Cox was a beast. It doesn’t show in the numbers, but the Giants weak offensive line was nothing but a turnstile for Cox as he had no issue getting to the quarterback. Lately, Cox has been quiet. Aside from Michael Bennett on the outside, the Eagles defensive line hasn’t been a force.

This week, they need to take advantage of the matchup and make Eli Manning as uncomfortable as possible. We all know that if Manning has time to throw, the Giants are going to move the ball with ease. The secondary is simply broken.

If the defensive line isn’t going to create pressure, then the Eagles offense better be prepared to produce at a high volume then. The pressure from the Eagles defensive line starts with Fletcher Cox. He knows how to get through an offensive line, and he has to be the leader that creates the pressure and keeps the blockers hands full all day long.
