5. Donovan McNabb

While the debate rages about whether or not Donovan McNabb is Hall-of-Fame worthy, one thing can’t be denied. Statistically, he’s the best quarterback in team history. His number was retired after making six Pro Bowls (2000–2004, 2009), leading the Eagles to a Super Bowl, and winning more than his fair share of big games.

The Eagles had one of their most successful stretches with him at the helm, and he’s a member of their 75th-anniversary team and their Hall of Fame.

Case closed. He deserves to be in Canton.

4. Jake Elliott

We want to give Tom Hutton a nod here, but that 61-yard kick against the New York Giants helped launch the greatest run in Eagles history. Emotion and recent history may be the biggest reason for this choice, but Jake Elliott has earned the wings on his helmet, and Eagles fans will love him forever, regardless of what happens from here on out.
