Philadelphia Eagles: 5 questions for Week 16 battle with Cowboys
By Dan Parzych
3. Will Amari Cooper be a problem for defense?
Remember when Amari Cooper made it look easy in October when facing the Eagles by catching all five passes thrown in his direction for 106 yards?
Better yet, how about last December when Cooper absolutely torched Philadelphia’s defense for 217 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 10 catches?
Clearly, the Eagles are becoming one of those opponents Cooper looks forward to each time since his numbers alone shows how effective he can be each time, and there’s a good chance the Cowboys wideout will be in for another big game on Sunday.
No one needs to explain just how frustrating Philadelphia’s defense has been at times in recent weeks, especially when it comes to the cornerback position.
As much as Eagles fans don’t want to hear it, chances are Cooper is going to find a way to make numerous key plays on offense, no matter how much the defense attempts to keep him in check.
Then again, if Dak Prescott‘s shoulder does end up being more of an issue than originally expected, Philadelphia may have an easier time covering Cooper.
Either way, if the last two seasons are any indication of what the Eagles should expect, Cooper will most likely continue to be a problem for the defense.
