Philadelphia Eagles: Potential Super Bowl 54 matchups to fear most
By Dan Parzych
5. Buffalo Bills
The good news for the Eagles is if they were to happen to meet the Buffalo Bills down the road in Miami, Philadelphia has already proven they can beat Sean McDermott‘s squad.
With the Bills already a lock for the No. 5 seed in the AFC prior to Sunday, it was easy to understand Buffalo’s decision to rest most of their starters in Week 17, but now the real fun begins in making a run at the Super Bowl.
Even though there were some doubters early on, the Bills made a statement in the second half of the regular season in proving they have what it takes to compete with the best of teams.
From defeating the Cowboys on Thanksgiving to almost knocking off the Ravens on the road, this is a Wild Card team with the talent to make a run at the Super Bowl since they are stacked on both sides of the football.
Over the years, defense has been considered the main strength of the Bills, but Josh Allen taking a major step in the right direction has helped Buffalo become more of a threat this season.
The pressure will be on for Allen entering his first career playoff experience, but if the last few months are any indication, the Buffalo youngster will be ready.
