The defensive ends (6): Chris Long, Trent Cole, Brandon Graham, Michael Bennett, Derek Barnett, Vinny Curry

Chris Long and Michael Bennett weren’t here long enough, and the Eagles were foolish to move on from them at the time that they did. Trent Cole and Brandon Graham are both obvious choices and two of the most underappreciated defensive ends in NFL history. It won’t take much to convince Eagles fans of their value though. Derek Barnett has come up big in some big spots, and Vinny Curry is in for one major reason.

Once you get past him, there isn’t much to choose from.

The defensive tackles (3): Fletcher Cox, Bennie Logan, Timmy Jernigan,

Bennie Logan gave the Eagles quite a few stellar seasons in both the 3-4 and 4-3 defensive schemes. Timmy Jernigan and Fletcher Cox are monsters. Period. You only need three guys here because kicking Graham or one of the pass rushers inside makes more sense than adding some of the other guys who have played defensive tackle over the past decade.

The linebackers (5): Jordan Hicks, Nigel Bradham, Connor Barwin, Nathan Gerry, Mychal Kendricks,

Kamu Grugier-Hill is a special teams ace and we found out that he can serve as the kicker if one was to go down. He barely missed making a nice unit that includes Jordan Hicks, Nigel Bradham, Connor Barwin, Mychal Kendricks, and the underappreciated Nathan Gerry. Those five give you a nice mix of talent that would make any defensive coordinator smile.
