3. Matt Rhule

Philadelphia fans are quite familiar with Matt Rhule from his time spent with the Temple Owls before taking the job with Baylor during the 2017 season.

The chances of Rhule taking over as the new head coach for the Giants may seem like a long shot at the moment, but also football fans need to remember that he briefly spent a year with the team as an assistant in 2012.

With the way things have gone in New York over the last couple of seasons, no one needs to explain just how desperate the Giants are for a head coach that can help turn this team around.

And even though the collegiate level is completely different from the pros, if Rhule found a way to make Temple’s football program legitimate again a few years ago, there’s every reason to believe he could do the same with the Giants.

Plus, one of the great factors that someone like Rhule would benefit from is all of the potential on offense to work with compared to where the team was a few years ago, mainly Jones and Barkley.

Philadelphia already knows that Jones and Barkley will most likely continue being threats within the division for years to come, but with Rhule’s background, it could make the two even more dangerous on the Giants.
