8. TCU Wide Receiver Jalen Reagor

Just how bad did things get for Philadelphia at the wide receiver position in 2019?

More from Inside the Iggles

All football fans need to do is look at how the Eagles ended the year without their top three receivers, and this shows how great of a job Wentz did leading the team to the playoffs when taking into consideration what he had to work with.

With that being said, time will when it comes to determining if Philadelphia decides to bring Nelson Agholor or DeSean Jackson back for 2020, but chances are they will look to the draft to add talent at receiver regardless.

Since the chances of the Eagles landing a top prospect such as CeeDee Lamb would require trading up, it only seems fair to focus on players that will most likely be available later in the round, which is where TCU’s Jalen Reagor comes into play.

Reagor certainly has a few areas in need of improvement entering the NFL such as route-running, but also this could be one of those scenarios in which the wideout benefits from playing alongside some of his teammates.

In a way, this is what the Eagles always expected from Agholor over the years, only to find out the former first-round pick didn’t always have what it takes to handle the larger roles when needed in the passing game.
