Philadelphia Eagles: 10 free agents to potentially replace Nelson Agholor
By Dan Parzych
3. Breshad Perriman
For a player on the verge of hitting free agency, Breshad Perriman certainly made a strong case over the final few weeks of regular-season action for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to get paid this offseason.
All season, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin rightfully received most of the attention on offense in the passing game in regards to being the top receivers for the Buccaneers.
But with Tampa Bay dealing with some unfortunate injuries towards the end of 2019, Perriman was able to benefit from the additional playing time on offense, and took complete advantage of the opportunity.
Just how great was Perriman? Not only did Perriman find the end zone three times in Week 15, but the wideout crossed the 100-yard receiving mark in each of the final three games to help set career highs across the board in 2019.
With this in mind, one can only imagine what kind of impact Perriman would be able to make on offense for the Eagles since unlike Agholor, he’s proven to be able to handle a larger role if needed in the passing game.
This sounds harsh to say about Agholor, but also it’s unfortunately true, and the numbers in comparison will back the claim up.
