10 NCAA prospects Eagles can pair with Cre’Von LeBlanc at cornerback
There isn’t a draft profile on corners that you’ll see between now and April that won’t feature Jeffrey Okudah‘s name. In a draft class that figures to see its defensive backs get a ton of hype and attention, Okudah will probably get all of the hype for being the cream of the cornerback crop.
He’s a six-foot-one, 200 pound standout from the Ohio State Buckeyes that’s quicker than fast (he’s projected to run the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds. Though it’s doubtful that he’ll even be around after the mid rounds for the Eagles to have a shot at taking him, stranger things have happened.
Maybe it won’t here but you never know.
Okudah is phenomenal in pass coverage, and Buckeyes fans are going to be sad when it finally sinks in that he’s leaving. For his career, he’s appeared in 35 games. He’s racked up 83 total tackles with 64 of those being of the solo variety. He’s defended 18 passes and hauled in three interceptions in his career. All three of those INTs came in his final season in the ‘scarlet and gray.’.
