10. Mike Glennon

A few years ago, Mike Glennon appeared to be on his way to being a consistent starter with the Chicago Bears before eventually losing to the job to Mitch Trubisky, who was a rookie at the time during the 2017 season.

As frustrating as this was for Glennon at the time after spending all those years as a backup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, at least his contract at the time with the Bears was pretty hefty.

In other words, Glennon making millions to watch Trubisky from the sidelines wasn’t exactly the worst gig in the world, and also made it pretty clear that he’s better off as a backup in the NFL instead of being a regular starter.

This past season, the Oakland Raiders marked Glennon’s third team in three years, and he will most likely make it four teams in four seasons, depending on what happens over the next few months.

Glennon may not seem like the most attractive option for a team like the Eagles, but if anything, Philadelphia should look back at his rookie campaign in 2013 with the Buccaneers to see the kind of potential he has under center.

It may not seem like the biggest deal in the world that Glennon threw 19 touchdown passes compared to just six interceptions as a rookie, but compared to most players in their first NFL season, this is actually somewhat impressive.
