32. Pick Analysis. Running Back. Georgia. D'Andre Swift. player. 124. Scouting Report

After all of the years always coming up short, how great was it to see Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs finally win a Super Bowl by pulling off an epic comeback against the San Francisco 49ers?

More from Inside the Iggles

The fact that Kansas City trailed by double-digits in every game of the playoffs at one point, and still found a way to win the Super Bowl shows just how incredible of a team the Chiefs put together this past season.

But also, even the best of teams have areas in need of improvement, and the Chiefs are about to experience a whole new kind of pressure in 2020 playing with targets on their back as Super Bowl champions.

While Patrick Mahomes rightfully received a ton of credit for helping Kansas City pull off the incredible comeback in the Super Bowl, Damien Williams deserves just as much praise when seeing how much he stepped up in the ground game.

Clearly, Williams has made a strong case for being the top running back on offense for the Chiefs moving forward, but also it doesn’t hurt to have a reliable backup option to help lighten the load.

Georgia’s D’Andre Swift could be the kind of running back Kansas City is looking for heading into the 2020 season to help keep the offense in the best shape possible, and it’s safe to assume the young running back wouldn’t mind joining the top team to beat through the draft.
