3. Benson Mayowa

To say Benson Mayowa has bounced around over the years in the NFL would be a huge understatement when looking at all of the teams the defender has played for since joining the league in 2013.

More from Inside the Iggles

Even this past season, Mayowa joined the Raiders on a second stint after spending the previous year with the Arizona Cardinals, and depending on how things play out over the next few weeks, he could be in search of another home.

Then again, as frustrating as it may be on Mayowa’s end to see all of the bouncing around over the years, at least the former Idaho star is coming off a career year in 2019 that consisted of seven sacks to go along with three forced fumbles.

With this in mind, there’s a good chance that Las Vegas will strongly consider bringing Mayowa back for another year, but also he could benefit from testing the open market.

After setting career highs in numerous categories this past season, there’s always the chance of other teams willing to offer Mayowa more money, whether it happens to be the Eagles or someone else.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that Philadelphia should be breaking the bank for Mayowa, but after putting together the kind of season he did with the Raiders in 2019, just imagine what the numbers could be in Jim Schwartz‘s defense.
