1. The Philadelphia Eagles owe Ertz more than he’s been given.

Sure, in order to understand all of this, you’ll need to know what was said, if you don’t already know.

In a recent sitdown with several members of the Philly media, ’86’ poured his heart out. To his credit, despite his frustrations with his stalled contract talks, he’s decided to play the 2020 season ‘like it’s his last’.

Here’s what we know. ’86’ wants to end his career in Philly as an Eagle, but nothing is guaranteed past 2021. Ertz is hurt. He doesn’t know if his feelings are shared by the Eagles brass. Still, his plans are to give his all for his team and teammates in 2020. To his credit, he’s handled this the right way, and as a result, many of the fans that have stoned him and yelled for him to be traded while some of those same voices have also yelled that this team should pay Peters, when the latter was given a lifeline and then held the team to ransom when they needed him the most.

You guys don’t see the difference in both of those situations? Ertz is right. He deserves better, especially after this team bent over backward or Jason Peters.
