Miles Sanders could bring some balance to the Philadelphia Eagles offense.

Just like Lane Johnson, running back Miles Sanders is on track to make is 2020 debut in Week 2. Although it would be foolish to suggest ’26’ will save the Eagles from imploding, he can surely help them field a more balanced offense.

Against Washington, the Eagles were to muster a partly 57 rushing yards as a team. Things won’t get any easier against a Rams front four that features All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald, but if someone can help get Philly’s running game going, it’s Sanders. He can also bring another dimension to the team’s passing game and give ’11’ another weapon to throw the ball to.

. . . Josh Sweat, Defensive End. 5. player. 54

Defensive end Josh Sweat was one of the most pleasant surprises in Eagles training camp this year. After putting on 15 pounds and watching many of his teammates sit out with injuries, Sweat is making the most of his circumstances. He didn’t disappoint in Week 1 as he showed that he can dominate opposing players and not just his own teammates.

The 2018 fourth-round pick played 49 snaps, racking up three total tackles, one hurry, one sack, and a forced fumble. Although it may be too early to get caught in the hype, if Sweat keeps playing the way he did versus Washington, it’s possible the ‘Birds’ may have a potential replacement for Derek Barnett on their hands.
