Might this be an offer the Philadelphia Eagles can’t refuse?

Much like the first offer by the Carolina Panthers, getting a deal done with the Denver Broncos would land the Philadelphia Eagles more picks and allow them to pick in the top ten (in this case, ninth overall). This would be a great move for the Eagles’ front office.

The Denver Broncos have a few holes that they would want to trade up to sixth to address, but in this scenario, the theory is they’re eyeing a franchise quarterback. This would help the Eagles add even more draft picks to the deal, picks that they could use to fix their own roster issues.

Here, the Broncos land the sixth-overall selection. They also gain a seventh-round choice (pick 233). In return, the Philadelphia Eagles make out like fat rats,  getting the ninth pick, the 41st, the 73rd, the 114th pick, and the 195th.

Again, if you’re keeping score, Philly finagles seven picks into ten as they keep a first-rounder while winding up with two second-rounders, two third-rounders, a fourth-rounder, two fifth-rounders, and two sixth-rounders. That would give Roseman a real opportunity to add a ton of talent.
