Grading Philadelphia Eagles first-round selections during Roseman’s era

2010: Defensive end Brandon Graham, Philadelphia Eagles
The career of Brandon Graham as an Eagle needs to be made into a movie. It wasn’t too long ago that the entire city of Philadelphia viewed the former 13th-overall selection as a massive bust. Graham said the same thing about himself in 2012. After suffering through injury issues early in his career, many wrote him off and wanted to move on, but B.G. just kept working.
Graham showed promise in 2015, and when Jim Schwartz implemented a 4-3 defensive scheme in 2016, Graham logged a career-high 59 tackles. In 2017, it all came together for the former first-round pick as he became one of the primary pass rushers and registered a career-high 9.5 sacks during the regular season.
Once the postseason arrived, he only managed one sack, but it doubled as one of the greatest moments in franchise history. Graham went from being called a ‘bust’ to be being celebrated down Broad Street as a Super Bowl hero. He may have struggled his first few years, but Graham is an outstanding pass rusher who will live in the hearts of Eagles fans forever. Grade: B+
