The Philadelphia Eagles have added talented weapons to their offense.

The writing has been on the wall for JJ Arcega-Whiteside since the 2020 NFL Draft with the addition of receiver Jalen Reagor. Fast forward to this year and the Philadelphia Eagles have added three more rising stars to their passing offense.

After selecting DeVonta Smith in the first round, the Birds used the 150th pick a on running back Kenneth Gainwell. Even worse for Whiteside was the addition of undrafted free agent Trevon Grimes. Despite being undrafted, Grimes isn’t your normal prospect.

The front office and fans alike had a ton of hope for JJ Arcega-Whiteside when he was taken out of Stanford University, yet here we are going into year three and it seems fans (and possibly the front office) have given up all hope for the former second-rounder. He has had a couple of flashes but has never really shown the promise most have hoped for.

Add all that up with the new additions and fans can see what is possibly coming for Whiteside. He will have to have an amazing offseason if he going to stick around this year.
