The Philadelphia Eagles drop another one in Arlington to the hated Cowboys.

No one has to be reminded of the hatred that Philadelphia Eagles fans harbor for the Dallas Cowboys and, in all honesty, some of their fan base, but annual meetings and Twitter squabbles between rival fan factions aside, Philly hasn’t been on the winning side of a game versus their rivals in Arlington at AT&T Stadium since 2017.

The Cowboys right now, arguably have the better roster, the longer-tenured head coach, and the more experienced quarterback. They had a slightly better draft. They also have three stars at wide receiver. Darius Slay, by his lonesome, is not going to be able to cover all of those guys.

Losses always sting whenever Birds fans have to watch their beloved Eagles go down in flames. Losses to the Dallas Cowboys are doubly excruciating, but the facts are the facts.

Right now, that so-called America’s Team is honestly better than the Eagles are, on paper and on the field. This one’s in primetime as well. Look for the Cowboys to make a statement, which they will. Philly’s second win of the season will have to wait for a couple more weeks.

Final score: Eagles 17, Cowboys 31 (2021-2022 Eagles record: 1-2)
