Jalen Hurts best throws of Week 9

Hurts had a few ‘wow’ moments in this one. Many of us are still thinking about that scramble at the end of the second quarter, another on 3rd-and-eight in the third quarter, and that run/somersault on 3rd-and-four with 8:31 remaining in the fourth. QB1 had some ‘wow’ moments that came from some arm talent as well.

He completed 11 of 17 passes in this one. We discussed a couple of bad-looking tosses. Here are the best passes that he made in Week 9.

13:40 remaining in the 1st quarter: They say, if you want to confuse QB1, you want to make him roll to his left. That theory was put to the test in the first quarter during the Eagles’ first drive and Hurts proved to be up to the task.

On 3rd-and five from Philly’s own 32-yard line, Jalen Hurts’ scramble to his left resulted in a beautiful throw across his body that traveled from about the Eagles’ 20-yard line to the 38-yard line. Dallas Goedert was the recipient, and he was able to turn upfield and tack on 12 more yards with his legs to get out of bounds at midfield.

Jalen Hurts’ touchdown pass to DeVonta Smith: If the chemistry continues to develop between Hurts and DeVonta Smith, this could be a special connection for years. No words are necessary. Just watch.

When you’re re-watching this one, pay very close attention to the Eagles’ third-quarter touchdown drive that began at their own 15-yard line with 6:05 left. Hurts completed three gorgeous passes on that one, two to Smith and another to Goedert.
