Philadelphia Eagles Week 13 duds

Steven Nelson, cornerback

With Darius Slay having his best season since 2017, most teams the Eagles have faced began making a decision. They decided to, for the most part, ignore Slay’s side of the field and begin throwing in Steven Nelson‘s direction.

That decision has paid off in first downs, touchdowns, and pass-interference penalties that have set the bad guys up with 1st-and-goal situations at the Eagles one-yard line. No one fears Nelson, not even rookie Jets QB Zach Wilson, and he isn’t giving anyone any reason to.

He missed the entire second half, and we hope he’s okay. He’s got to be better when he’s in there though.

Jalen Reagor, wide receiver

You can let the Eagles lie to you if you want to, but the rest of us are fully aware of what’s going on here. You know good and well that the only reason Jalen Reagor is still allowed playing time is where he was drafted. If he was a sixth-round draft choice, there’s no way he’d be allowed to cost this team weekly.

What was going on during that kick return? It didn’t wind up costing Philly, but that can’t happen! He recovered nicely after the bobble on the pun, but those moments can’t happen either.
