DJ Chark Jr., Jags. 5. player. 52. . .

DJ Chark Jr. upgrades the Eagles receiving corps immediately.

We’ve seen how good DJ Chark Jr. can be (78 receptions, 1,008 yards, and eight touchdowns in 2019). We’ve also seen him at his least productive.

You can toss around your thoughts about his rookie season, a 14-catch, 174-yard demonstration in 11 games with zero starts. If that isn’t enough of a conversation piece, you can compare a 53-reception, 706-yard, and five-touchdown 13-game outing in 2020 to an injury-riddled four-game showcase in 2021.

Before being placed on the injured reserve on October 4th with a fractured ankle, Chark had hauled in seven receptions on 22 targets for 154 yards. He also found his way into the end zone twice.

Now, there are two ways that you can look at this. One, this gives the Eagles plenty of reason to ignore Chark entirely, or second, this gives the Eagles a discount on one of the game’s talented young receivers who could flourish with a change of scenery.

This six-foot-four, 198-pound weapon finds his way onto this list for two reasons. First, we thought about Emmanuel Sanders, but he’s on the wrong side of 30. Second, the idea of adding a troubled personality like Antonio Brown or a former Dallas Cowboys receiver, Michael Gallup, doesn’t get the adrenaline pumping.
