You could do so much worse than being an Eagles fan.

No one loves their team more than Philadelphia Eagles fans, but as you’re well aware no one’s harder on their team either. Loving the Birds means there will always be a fine line that separates fanaticism from obsession and intense affection from a borderline love/hate relationship.

That’s a long-winded way of saying Eagles fans care more. They could spend Monday through Saturday ripping their team to shreds on social media, but they’ll be in front of a television 30 minutes prior to game time so they can cheer them on.

Sure, you’re frustrated. Howie Roseman’s likeness looks like it would look really cool on a dartboard, but believe it or not, things could be worse. You could have been born in Detroit and a lifelong Lions fan.

Philly’s offseason has been, at worst, maddening, and, at best, a head-scratcher. They’ve decided to ‘run it back’ so to speak with a team that finished a game above .500 in the regular season before getting trounced in the NFC Playoffs by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

There haven’t been many electrifying moves which means they’ll need to nail the draft. The question is will they? Howie Roseman has the final say on who’s taken. That won’t evoke confidence, but if you need an escape from the frustration and agony, look at the bright side. The rivals’ offseasons haven’t been much better.

Refer back to this one as often as you can. Here are several moves made by the other three teams in the NFC East that are sure to put a smile on your face.
