From dog mentality to rock-paper-scissors, Nick Sirianni talks about everything Philadelphia.

Following a serious and heartfelt moment in the show, as you might expect, McAfee and his crew steered things back to something more comical. Ty Schmit, a noted Green Bay Packers fan, donned a kelly green Eagles cap and a white Eagles pullover before asking Sirianni some lighthearted questions.

The topics ranged from dog mentality to Eagles legend Vince Papale to Coach’s theory that any players lacking the proper mindset need only spend time with Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson.

As Sirianni states, football means the world to him. That’s why he’s so passionate about it. Nick appreciates the home crowd at Eagles games. He appreciates cheesesteaks and rock-paper-scissors. He went a few rounds with Schmidt. Prizes for the fans were on the line.

Schmidt was the winner. He proclaimed his dog mentality propelled him to a win. This one ended with Pat McAfee wishing Nick Sirianni luck during the rest of the season and a tip of the cap to Sirianni’s Italian heritage.

Perhaps the best part of the show came after Philly’s head coach signed off. Ty Schmit said he loved Nick to the point where he would take a bullet for the coach if necessary.

Coach Sirianni certainly has come a long way from being picked on after his press conferences. Slowly but surely, he’s become one of the most respectable and likable head coaches in the NFL.
