Philadelphia Eagles edge rusher Brandon Graham

Moving on to Philadelphia’s edge rushers, it is impossible to avoid starting with Brandon Graham. He is one of seven remaining players on the Eagles’ roster who played on the Super Bowl 52 championship-winning roster. He also ranks fourth all-time in franchise history in sacks with 63 on his resume.

Graham is set to hit free agency after the 2022 season, and at first glance, it seems as though he and the Eagles might mutually agree to move on from one another. On the other hand, the 34-year-old could opt for retirement. B.G. seems to be nowhere near making either announcement if he can help it.

In an interview with JAKIB Sports, the legend admitted that he would like to play beyond 2022. He also teased that he’d like to remain with the Eagles for his entire career if that’s a possibility.

Brandon Graham’s last deal netted him an average salary of $13.3 million over 3 years, so he would likely be yet another player asking for a deal in the neighborhood of $10 million. Graham, like Cox, has a long history with the Eagles and could receive a deal because of that history. If B.G. is retained, the reason might be that Philly chose him over Fletcher Cox. In some circles, it would be hard to find someone who’d have a problem with that.
