Most Philadelphia Eagles are biting their fingernails heading into the 2026 season, as they have no idea what the new-look offense will look like under first-time offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.
The biggest change to the Eagles' coaching staff is the departure of offensive line coach and run game coordinator Jeff Stoutland, who spent 13 years with the organization. Stoutland is a future Hall of Famer, so losing someone like that is a crushing blow, which is putting more pressure on new offensive line coach Chris Kuper to be a rockstar in his first year.
While making his weekly appearance on SportsRadio 94 WIP, former Eagles center Jason Kelce shared his thoughts on Kuper taking over for Stoutland. Kelce seemed to be more optimistic about the move than about how fans feel.
"He's got a really good background...he's going to work with some of the top-notch guys in the league here in Philadelphia, and I'm sure he'll have success."

Eagles fans are trying to understand what Kelce is saying that Kuper has a "really good background." The Minnesota Vikings had Kuper on their staff for four years, but after last season, they did not think his work was good enough to bring him back.
Kuper's offensive line struggled last year, with much of it due to injuries. The Vikings also had some poor play from some key free agent signings, like center Ryan Kelly and guard Will Fries.
The good part about the Eagles' offensive line is that there are plenty of good linemen on the line, with three of them having been Pro Bowl selections. One concern is whether Lane Johnson and Landon Dickerson will retire or return. So far, most people believe Johnson will be back, but there is no word on Dickerson.

Kelce will always be the optimistic one, trying to stay positive in so many relationships within the organization, which is understandable. Eagles fans are looking for action from Kuper, so he won't be able to prove himself until the 2026 season begins.
