With Philadelphia Eagles fans still feeling the pain of offensive line coach and run game coordinator Jeff Stoutland's departure after 13 seasons, everyone is trying to figure out what is going on with the coaching staff in 2026.

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane shares a major update on everything going on with the offensive coaching staff led by new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion. Eagles tight end coach Jason Michael is no longer on the staff, as Ryan Mahaffey replaced him last week and landed the run game coordinator role. Mahaffey is joined by pass game coordinator Josh Grizzard and offensive line coach Chris Kuper.

As for who is being retained on the staff, running backs coach/assistant coach Jemal Singleton and wide receivers coach Aaron Moorehead will return to their roles. Pass game coordinator Parks Frazier, assistant offensive line coach Greg Austin, and offensive quality control coaches Eric Dickerson and Montgomery VaGorder are also back, but their roles are unknown. Former offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo and quarterbacks coach Scott Loeffler are still technically on the staff, but their futures are also unknown.

Eagles' 2026 offensive coaching staffs are coming together

Patullo and Loeffler are the most fascinating names, as they have not been let go, but no one has a clue what is going on with them. The Eagles have interviewed other coaches for the quarterbacks coach role, with no sign that Loeffler will be part of that process.

Singleton is not a surprise to stay on the staff as he has done a great job with the running backs over the years. Morehead, though, might be more of a surprise with the receivers outside of DeVonta Smith showing some regression in their productivity, especially A.J. Brown and Jahan Dotson.

Mannion's new additions all have something in common: they have experience with Sean McVay's offensive style, which is much needed. That will get everyone on the same page about what needs to happen on offense to prevent the same results as in 2025.

There's no telling how this staff will do, but they all have a ton of pressure to succeed, or it could get bad in Philly quickly for them.
