Albert Okwuegbunam, tight end

We'd love to place Jack Stoll on our list of Eagles who won't be back, but Philly loves their tight ends who play hard and can't catch. With that being said, he'll at least be one of the three TEs on Philly's 2024 roster in all likelihood

Albert Okwuegbunam is another story. It's hard to miss a guy we often forget is on the team. He made out like a fat rat, making $1 million this past season to be targeted once and wind up on the injured reserve. That pass attempt fell incomplete by the way.

You never know with the Birds, but as of now, it feels like moving on is best for both sides. Philly has to find a better complement to Goedert.

Shaquille Leonard, linebacker

Well, this didn't work. As was the case with Robert Quinn in 2023 and Ryan Kerrigan before him in 2022, the Birds swung and missed on a low-risk, high-reward signing.

We understood at the time. If this works, it would be cool. There was also this fear he'd land with the Dallas Cowboys and make trouble for Philly there.

Shaq appears to have little left. He was only signed through the end of the season, and he hasn't demonstrated much to justify continuing the relationship. Trust us on this one. He won't be missed.
