Does Mekhi Garner have a shot at leapfrogging a few veterans and making the Eagles roster?

Just in case you're curious, some of these undrafted rookie free agents at camp can play. That's especially true of the guys who are battling for jobs with the defensive backs.

Eli Ricks is quickly becoming a fan favorite, but keep an eye on Mekhi Garner too. Sean Desai has a big nickel package seemingly, one that features a three-safety lineup, and the STAR position seems to be a nice fit for Mekhi Garner.

Yes... We know he is listed on the roster as a cornerback, but at six-foot-two and 212 pounds, with his style of play, he might be better suited to play in the box or deep.

How good can Kelee Ringo become?

Kelee Ringo is taking his lumps. He has made a few plays, and he has been victimized by this Eagles wide receiver unit. They aren't going easy on him, and you know what? We're all for it. All that has done is make him better

Battling guys like A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Quez Watkins all day is certainly going to help a young cover guy grow up in a hurry. On Wednesday, Ringo and Josh Jobe played with the second-team defense.

The Eagles are in a good spot. With proven veterans on the outside, they don't need Ringo to step in and start immediately. As he continues to spar with his offensive teammates and soak up all of the knowledge his defensive back teammates have to offer, he'll continue to grow and progress.
