Eagles shine during Day 1 of Pro Bowl Skills Competition

Admittedly, we'd rather be in Vegas, but let's talk about what the Eagles are doing in Orlando.

Well, there's no point in fibbing. This has been a tough week. We'd rather things be like they were about 365 days ago. We wish, rather than talk about the Pro Bowl Skills Competition, we were traveling to the site of the coming Super Bowl to hang out with some of our Philadelphia Eagles and ask them dumb questions that have nothing to do with football at Media Night. That, friends, isn't what we're doing.

Instead, we're wondering how many times Jason Kelce can channel his inner Jon Dorenbos and snap a ball through a hole marked '5' on a wall about ten feet behind him. We're talking about dodgeball and flag football. We're talking about Jalen Hurts and his obstacle course.

Philly's Pro Bowl nods skipped a free trip to Vegas last February because members of the two teams representing the NFC and AFC in the Pro Bowl are given free passes to miss the festivities. Their spots are taken by alternates. That's how Jalen Hurts and Darius Slay got added to the NFC's roster.

So, no... Watching our guys hang out in Orlando isn't as satisfying as watching them participate in football's biggest game. We're football junkies, so we'll be checking our guys out. Okay, let's have some fun (or try to).

Check out what some of our favorite Eagles have been up to at the Pro Bowl.

Jalen Hurts showed off the arm talent. Darius Slay showed off his golf swing (in the wind). You know what? On second thought, sitting through more of the Pro Bowl Games might be a tougher ask than we originally thought. Well, anyway... As promised, our guys are in the building.

How about some Jason Kelce content? You know... something that doesn't include retirement talk. The G.O.A.T. did his thing, and the Eagles and NFL's social media teams didn't miss anything.

Don't look now! Dodgeball is on deck! Click here to watch!

As mentioned, flag football will follow. Once the skills competitions wrap, the games will begin. 3 p.m. EST on Sunday, February 4th. Watch on ESPN, ABC, and Disney XD.
