Week 10 is upon us. The Philadelphia Eagles sit idle. So do three other squads. One of which is their next opponent, the Kansas City Chefs. Yes... Those Chiefs. The same band of ballers that hung an L on our Birds during the most recent Super Bowl. That game's on Monday Night Football to close Week 11's action.

First things first. Week 10 is upon us. Everything begins with a game featuring the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears. Before we get into a stress-free weekend of action, here's a look at the current NFC playoff picture as it currently stands.

The Eagles distance themselves from the pack following a Week 10 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

It didn't always look pretty, especially toward the end of the game, but the Philadelphia Eagles took care of business versus the Dallas Cowboys to give themselves an 8-1 win-loss total on the season. That win gave them, in essence, a three-game edge over their rivals thanks to the early tie-breaker.

Two losses in four games haven't ousted the Cowboys from playoff contention (for now). They get a walkthrough in Week 10 however versus the New York Giants. That's as close as you can get to enjoying a bye week while still needing to play a game.

Here are your current playoff standings in the National Football Conference

1. Philadelphia Eagles (8-1)*
2. Detroit Lions (6-2)*
3. San Francisco 49ers (5-3)*
4. New Orleans Saints (5-4)*
5. Seattle Seahawks (5-3)
6. Dallas Cowboys (5-3)
7. Minnesota Vikings (5-3)

Keep an eye on those Lions. They have been impressive. Something tells us the Seahawks might have a shot at winning the NFC West too.
