When will the 2024 NFL Schedule get released?
And, just like that, we have reached year four of the Nick Sirianni era. Gosh... Where did the time go? It seems like it has been forever since he and Jalen Hurts played the air guitars once victory in their first game together was certain. That was Week 1 of the Philadelphia Eagles' 2021 season. We remember it well, a 32-6 thrashing of the Atlanta Falcons, but we have come a long way since that day.
As was the case with the Doug Pederson regime, the second season of the Nick Sirianni coaching era ended with a Super Bowl appearance. Unlike Doug's staff, Nick and company were unable to deliver a Vince Lombardi Trophy.
That brought us to this past season. The goal was simple. Philly wanted to get back to football's biggest game and win it. We all know how that turned out. In some ways, we're still mourning the collapse, but hey, it's football. It's time to dust ourselves off and move on.
The announcement of the Eagles' 2024 schedule is coming.
The climb toward bouncing back has included adding a great free-agent class, an exciting 2024 nine-man draft class, and acquiring some intriguing undrafted rookie free agents. If there was a game to be played tomorrow we'd be confident. That brings us to the coming announcement of the NFL schedule. We believe another exciting year is coming.
We know who the Eagles are playing. We just don't know when they are playing those opponents. We may have been thrown a bone though. Recently, we learned, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, that Ben Fischer reported that teams were informed the official schedule release was expected to occur on Wednesday, May 15th. On May 13th, the official announcement came.
If you need a recap, here are the teams who will be taking up residency on the opposing sideline. Here's the full list of Eagles opponents.
