Over the last two seasons, Cory Littleton has worked his way into the conversation of being a top linebacker in the NFL, and with the Rams getting him at a steal, the former Washington star seems to be in for a hefty pay raise.

Whether that raise will come from Los Angeles, well only time will tell for Littleton since the defender has earned the right for a hefty contract after only earning a little over $3 million in 2019 while playing under a tender.

Not only has Littleton appeared in every game for the Rams dating back to the 2016 season, but he’s become a consistent starter over the last two years, and seems to be only scratching the surface of his true potential on defense.

With 7.5 sacks since 2018 to go along with five interceptions and 259 combined tackles, Littleton will easily gain plenty of interest in the free agency market if the Rams can’t figure out a way to bring him back for a fifth season.

For the Eagles, no one needs to explain just how weak the linebacker position has been at times over the last few years, and the addition of someone like Littleton could help provide the necessary boost on defense for Philadelphia in 2019.

Even if the price seemed like a bit much, Littleton would make the deal worth it for the Eagles.
