2. Ruggs could be reliable threat in end zone

After making the long-term commitment to Carson Wentz last offseason, the Eagles knew they would need to continue building the proper offense around their beloved quarterback, or all that guaranteed money would feel like a complete waste.

Despite all of the injuries that took place in the wide receiver department last season, it was still amazing to watch Wentz help the offense overcome all of the obstacles to earn a trip to the playoffs before coming up short again the Seahawks.

However, Philadelphia knows this kind of approach most likely won’t be successful again in 2020 since the division is shaping up to be more competitive thanks to all three teams making improvements over the last few months.

As previously mentioned, it almost seems like a lock that Philadelphia will take a wide receiver at some point during the draft, and if this player turns out to be Ruggs, the young wideout would certainly bring a lot to the table.

Without question, one of the most attractive factors surrounding Ruggs is the fact that he managed to find the end zone 18 times for the Crimson Tide over his final two seasons with the team in 26 contests.

This may not seem like the biggest deal in the world to some teams, but when also taking into consideration that Ruggs only caught 86 passes during this two-year span as well, it is quite impressive.
